Our Story

Sage Hall (they/them) is a trauma-informed multidisciplinary artist, teaching artist and financial practitioner living and working in the South. Their work explores African American and Afro-Caribbean folklore through narratives rooted in domestic labor, relational dynamics, displacement, and care. Working at the intersections of creative storytelling, social justice, and playful programming to honor the lived experiences of marginalized individuals. Sage’s body of work spans public art, youth arts education, visual communication, and grant writing. When projects come to an end, you will likely find Sage rambling with their loved ones and traveling for the joy of it.
